Liz Humphries is a member of the Contemporary Quilt Group in Perth, which I am co-convenor of.  She does some fabulous work and it is so different to what I do.  Inspired by her stitchery talk, I purchased Judy Wilford’s book, Embroidered Landscapes, which she recommended.  I have worked one of the projects in the book, following instructions to the letter and produced this.  I am rather pleased with it!

I even laced the back as instructed.  Now I just have to decide whether to mount and frame it.  By the way, it is tiny – about 14cm square.
