After retiring from full time international career in the oil/gas industry, I wanted to pursue my long term interest/hobby in patchwork and quilting. I love fabric and have a passion for bright colours. At first I started making quilts for family and friends and then I set up Quirky Quilts in 2010 as a vehicle to sell quilts. I now spend my time making quilts for stock, which I sell online or on an occasional market stall, or for commission.

Australasian Quilting Conference 2018
I have just stepped down as a co-convenor of the Contemporary Quilt Group (part of WA Quilters Association) in Perth, Australia but am still very much involved with the Group. I also assist in teaching patchwork and quilting at a WA Quilters Association (WAQA) Beginners class and run a small WAQA sewing group.
Inspired by all my quilting buddies, I also have great fun taking part in quilting challenges and entering competitions.
